Homemaking Advice

My dear Mama gave me a wonderfully fun present for Christmas this year; a book called The American Frugal Housewife - For those who are Not Ashamed of Economy. First published in 1828, it is filled with good advice for 19th century homemakers, from recipes to shopping to budgeting.

That book you received looks like so much fun. Share more with us when you have time to. I see an award note on your blog. Did you win an award? Neat! I like your blog and hope you do write more often. Take care Fellow FarmGirl!

Hi Rebekah!
Thanks for your comment, I'm pretty knew to this whole blogging world but figured I'd give it a go. *grin*
The award note at the botttom of my blog is from National Novel Writing Month, where a few thousand of crazy folks like myself challenge each other to write a 50000 word novel within the month of November. This year, I completed mine and the novel Red Brick Farm was born.
